TAKE TWO – Pouring the gelatin mold

It was a poor effort last time.  This time I marked out the seems of each sculpt in pencil in the mold, so as not to over fill.  I put the mold in the oven on 100 for ten mins to heat, so the gelatin didn’t set as quick.  I melted the gelatin (double boiler) with minimal stirring to avoid bubbles and used a tea spoon to pour and a knife to spread, instead of tilting.  Finally I strapped the mold and ed with a pillow and added weight (heavy film reel tin) So basically if it doesn’t work this time, I’m close to concluding, I’m just shit at pouring molds FINGERS CROSSED.
